First of all, we would like to thank all visitors for their mostly positive reactions and support for the content of this website.

Putting this website online was born out of the following needs:

– to set up a clear legacy/history of the person Gerard Blankespoor;

– to highlight what false reports and statements do with actually innocent people, of which Gerard Blankespoor is one in a long line of people;

– that envy, jealousy, lies, deceit, revenge, etc. do not need to have the last word, like Gerard Blankespoor’s story of his life shows;                                                                    

– to show that in the community of evangelical Christians one has a rather neurotic conception about sexuality. On the one hand, sexuality is difficult to discuss, on the other hand they are more than average fascinated by the subject;

– to show that, among other things, Freud’s psychoanalysis is not a real science and only causes confusion, but that it is taught in universities as such and is considered to be objective by governments and the judiciary;

– that proverbial sayings, such as “where there is smoke, there is fire,” be belied by the actual total absence of smoke, let alone fire, in what actually took place;

– to distinguish objective truth from rumors, gossip, made up stories and wittingly manipulation of governments, private organizations and private individuals;

– to give a supplement and where necessary correct the already written (church) history, casu quo to provide more information in any future historiography around the period 1980-2000;

– to show that faith, hope and love were and still are Gerard Blankespoor’s motives, but the greatest of these is love;

The content of this site is therefore fully truthful and substantiated from written reporting, including correspondence, minutes, media publications, police-reports and statements.

All persons mentioned by name have played their part in the development of the history of Gerard Blankespoor’s life, whether or not in a positive way, and will appear as such.
